Bill Rose & Glen Tilley were great as usual but more importantly extremely generous. They, the men’s service club and the UCW in Freshwater donated all the door and canteen to the fire relief fund. A little over $1600 was taken in on the door and the canteen, so with the provincial and federal governments matching it, pretty close to $5,000.00 was raised to help the people on the north shore. Thank you to those who came as well as to those who didn’t come but sent money.
