I am a self-taught painter and clay artist, who thrives on experimenting with different mediums to create dimension and uniqueness within my art. I love creating pieces in which I have the opportunity to incorporate a person’s story and experiences into a piece just for them. In recent years my life changed drastically. I was forced into a lifestyle that I was not prepared for, which came with str
uggles. My body was literally at a war with itself, and as a result so was my mind. It was chaos. There was a time when I enjoyed the simple things in life; the connectivity of the world around me, and the subtle moments of just being until that all changed. I have searched for that “thing” to enjoy once again; something that made me feel connected, something that was just for me. In 2023, I started to make custom hand painted clay earrings, which then evolved into sculpting clay art pieces, and the application of clay art on canvas. This revitalization of a youthful hobby collided with my frivolous need for earrings and resulted in the renewal of spirit, and the connectivity of mind and body.
