One of our Seniors (ages 12 - 16) camps for our first sessions of SummerArts camps is Design & Architecture!

As one of our 2-day camps, this is a great way to test the waters of camp life and to kick off summer with Ross Creek!

Our Design & Architecture has campers focusing on designing and creating various one-of-a-kind structures while learning an architectural vocabulary. Campers will use a variety of materials, including clay, foam, wood, cardboard, and much more to bring their designs to life.

We have lots of other options for the two-day camps at the start of summer, so be sure to check out our website — link in bio!

You are also welcome to just give us a call if you have any questions about the program, camps in general, or any concerns you might have — we're happy to help!

Join us this July 1 to celebrate a day of all ages programing exploring cultural expression from down the road and around the world!

July 1 is the biggest community day of the year for us, celebrating culture and fun, and highlighting both the First Nations of this land, as well as our newest neighbours — it's a day for everyone!

We have multicultural art activities, face painting, classic carnival games, live music, food, a PWYC performance of "The Wind Coming Over The Sea" by Emma Donoghue, and a campfire with our summer camp staff to end the evening!

At 4:30pm, we also have a Chicken/Veggie BBQ dinner available — $20 for adults, and $10 for children (11 and under). Go to artscentre.ca/july-1/ to sign up in advance!

So join us this July 1 for an amazing day for the whole community up on the North Mountain!

Our first round of SummerArts Camps are just around the corner, and we still have space available across the summer, including in our 2-day camps at the very start of summer! This a great way to test the waters of trying out camp life and a night away from home.

Our Recording Studio camp for our Seniors group (Ages 12 to 16) is a two-day camp focused on the ins and outs of a real recording studio. Our instructors will cover music recording and editing softwares, creating original tracks, and the basics of audio recording equipment.

We have lots of other options for the two-day camps, as well as week-long camps all summer, so be sure to check out our website for more information (Link in bio!)

You are also welcome to just give us a call if you have any questions about the program, camp in general, or any concerns you might have — we're happy to help!

Only 3 weeks before our first round of SummerArts Camps! Many of the programs are filling up, but there's still time to register your child for an amazing week that they'll never forget!

Our SummerArts camps bring a number of amazing creative programs taught by professional artists with the atmosphere of a traditional camp — all on a beautiful campus overlooking the Bay of Fundy.

Campers choose from day and overnight options, with a single-night stay for campers looking to dip their toes in being away from home for a night!

Our SummerArts camps are divided between our Juniors (ages 5 - 7), our Intermediates (ages 8 - 10), and our Seniors (ages 11 - 16). Our programming addresses these different age groups, nurturing and enhancing the artistic skills at all levels.

Our Teen Academies are quickly approaching, and we still have space available!

The Teen Arts Academy provides students aged 14 to 18 years old with an intensive, preprofessional experience in the arts, facilitated by a faculty of professional artists.

Developing skills in independent and collaborative environments, students spend two weeks pushing boundaries and having fun with like-minded peers.

Students choose a discipline in Visual Arts, Film, Writing, Theatre, or Music, and work with their peers and mentors to create a portfolio that can be used for post-secondary applications and programs.

A big thank you to our friends at who donated a number of transplants for our gardens this year!

Their donation included blackberry, blueberry, goji berry, raspberry and blackcurrant plants — our gardener, Jeff, is taking advantage of the clear weather and is giving them all new homes here at the centre.

If you're in the area, be sure to check out Glad Gardens Family Farm Market & Greenhouses at 5108 Highway 1 in Waterville, Nova Scotia! They're open daily from 9 to 5!
