❄️Avalanche in Canmore this morning ❄️
A very uniquely Canmore experience is seeing the man-made avalanches off the East End of Mount Rundle. After a heavy snowfall, these avalanches are purposefully started to keep snow from building and causing dangerous, uncontrolled avalanches onto roads. So fortunate to have captured this one on video! You can see the charges go off at the beginning, and hear explosions several seconds later as the windows rattle.
