ā€¢ bring backup shoes for portraits and the dance floor
ā€¢ leave extra travel time between locations because Banff traffic does whatever it wants
ā€¢ assign somebody to carry your emergency kit instead of carrying it yourself all day
ā€¢ eat something before the ceremony even if you think youā€™re too nervous
ā€¢ schedule 10 quiet minutes alone together after the ceremony because the day moves ridiculously fast

Trust us, the couples who plan for comfort usually enjoy the day way more.

ā€¢ ceremony music during guest seating changes the entire atmosphere immediately
ā€¢ comfortable shoes for later in the night will save your life
ā€¢ framed engagement photos and personal decor make cocktail hour feel more interactive
ā€¢ live musicians keep guests engaged while timelines shift behind the scenes
ā€¢ textured linens, layered florals, and warm lighting photograph far better than people expect
ā€¢ and please assign somebody to fluff your dress and fix boutonnieres before photos šŸ˜­

Not because we are biased (maybe slightly), but because local vendors already know where traffic builds, which photo locations get overrun by tourists, how mountain weather behaves, where to pivot during emergencies, and how to keep a timeline moving when the entire town suddenly decides to parallel park badly!
