The Crow's Nest Artist Collective has joined forces with Patrons Of The Arts (POTA), the Campbell River Arts Council and the Campbell River Art Gallery to put on an exhibition celebrating the youngest artists of our region. Kids bring in their artistic works and we display them, gallery-style, and invite the community to come check them out and encourage them in their efforts. Then, at the end of
the exhibition, we put on a reception where we formally recognize them, put on a bunch of art activities, bring in entertainment, award prizes, and just kind of bring the community together in celebration of their passions. This year we've also teamed up to make the event a fundraiser for The John Howard Society of North Island's KidStart program, as well as the Crow's Nest Kids' Art Fund: both excellent initiatives that help the kids of our community grow. Come join us Saturday, April 29 from 5:30-8:00 pm, help us raise money for these great programs and help us celebrate the artistic passions of the kids around the community!
