100 Notebook Project A collaborative project between Phidon Pens, Leuchtturm 1917, and local community groups to celebrate the culture of notebooks.

Phidon Pens Limited, BRIDGE Waterloo Architecture and Leuchtturm 1917 are collaborating to initiate the100 NOTEBOOK PROJECT, a community-based celebration of the notebook. We will engage 100 participants in creative

expression and explorative learning by giving them each a notebook. For each participant the objective is to fill the pages of the Leuchtturm notebook with their sketches and musings. Completed notebooks would be returned for inclusion in the 100 NOTEBOOK PROJECT Exhibition, an event which would share the potential of a notebook and the experience of each participant with the broader community. The entire collection would be the first additions to an on-going library which would circulate throughout the community, growing each year with the continuation of the 100 NOTEBOOK PROJECT. Our 100 participants will be chosen based on sketches submitted via the "A Night of Postcards" initiative that is underway until November 25, 2014.

A very special 100NBP showcase!❤️

This is the notebook of Gurvinder Singh Lamba, Mano’s late father. Today is his birthday, the first one since his passing last year. Today we are all thinking of him and remembering the beautiful life he created with his family.

His talent and creativity continue to live on through his notebook!

Amina was a student at Waterloo Architecture in 2014 and took part in Volume 1 with BRIDGE Centre for Architecture + Design. In every spread, she used her left hand on the left page and her right hand on the right page!

She visited us this past weekend and rediscovered her notebook, reconnecting with work she made years ago!

Say hello to Sara! 👋

Sara took part in Volume 4 of the 100 Notebook Project with Preston High School back in 2019. She came in to visit our new gallery space yesterday, reconnecting with her notebook after 6 years. Sara was moved deeply, reflecting on her younger self and everything that’s changed since then. Moments like this inspire us to continue growing the 100 Notebook Project!
