A glimpse of one of my early miniature works in its collector’s home.

These tiny sculptures hold an extraordinary amount of detail and care.

I’m always fascinated by how miniature artworks live within a space—drawing people in, rewarding close attention, and becoming small treasures that reveal themselves slowly.

Though modest in scale, they often create some of the most intimate connections between artwork and collector.

Because I create miniatures only occasionally, each one is a rare offering.

For those looking to begin an art collection or commission something deeply personal, a custom miniature can be a beautiful entry point into collecting original art.

Interested in commissioning a miniature of your own? Feel free to contact me for details.

Some discoveries are worth making in person.

I always enjoy welcoming visitors into the studio.

It offers a chance to experience the work beyond the photograph—to appreciate the scale, texture, and presence of each piece, and to share the stories that shaped them.

If you find yourself drawn to thoughtful craftsmanship, architecture, and collecting with intention, I would be delighted to welcome you.

Some stories are never spoken aloud.

They live quietly within walls, in the spaces between light and shadow.

Behind the slightly opened door of “Leave the Light On”
a woman reads by candlelight — suspended in a moment of stillness, solitude, and reflection.

The architecture becomes more than structure; it becomes a metaphor for the inner lives we rarely reveal.

Rooted in my background in printmaking, this work merges precision with emotion — the strength of construction softened by the graceful curve of the staircase.

Masculine structure meets feminine presence. Yet the true soul of the piece reveals itself subtly: in the warm glow beyond the door, and in the small bird perched silently on the railing, adding life.

This sculptural oil painting invites the viewer to pause, wonder, and perhaps recognize a part of themselves within it.

Step by step. This custom commission will be 49 inches high, designed to hang in the corner.

Inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci’s spiral staircase in Chateau de Chambord. Many fascinating elements in this co-creation. 💓

It is an honour to create one of a kind pieces that will be unlike anything anyone has ever seen before. It is a connection through creation and I am so very grateful for this skill. ✨

Yesterday I watched a beautiful film about the unexplicable healing power of horses.

I went with my mom, sister and niece to experience the live screening of Rescued Hearts in London, Ont.

They handed out packets of kleenex before the film. 💕 And trust me, the kleenex was needed.

Words cannot express this profound film.

It was an honour the filmmakers were present and it was incredibly special to be in a room filled with people who are open to healing and connection.

Although you may not be able to see a live screening, I encourage you to watch the trailer on their website and perhaps sign up on their mailing list to be notified when they are virtually streaming the film.

“The Lights”… oil on birch panel. 🔴 Sold

It was truly special to create this final custom commission of 2025.

Inspired by the Northern Lights in the Yukon—a journey deeply meaningful to its owner.

It always means so much when I’m entrusted with translating a personal experience into art. Some moments are beyond words, meant only to be felt and remembered.

While painting, my intention was to step aside—to quiet the ego, be fully present.
To honour the magic and spirit of the most sacred of skies.

After the piece was finished, and before the client saw it, a few people noticed something unexpected… an otter and a bunny, gently revealed.

Do you see them?🌟

Wishing you light, peace, and health.

Such a joy to share this custom commission of The Cambridge Mill.

Two years ago I hosted an open house in my new studio in Hespeler Village. I met a woman and the man she was seeing. She had been on my mailing list for several years and I finally met her in person.

I always love meeting people in person . ☺️

Little did I know he proposed to her that day after the studio tour.

Fast forward to this June. I received an email from the soon-to-be husband, asking if I would consider a custom commission that he could give to his bride as a wedding gift.

They were getting married in August and he wanted to surprise her with the notification that I would create a custom piece of her choosing.

I met them again in my studio a week after they got married.

She was so extremely happy and she had selected a beautiful photograph of The Mill at sunset where they got married.

Creating pieces that are so special for people is such an honour.

These are our time-kept places that are priceless in our lifetime.

I delivered and installed the piece on Monday and they were extremely happy .

Please reach out if you were interested in a custom commission.

Let’s co-create together your cherished memory of your time-kept place.
