It’s yer old friend Walsh checking in from Guitars For Kids-WATERLOO Region:) Occasionally we get the weirdest (in a good way) and rare donations.

Last week we had an elderly couple donate a guitar as they were in the process of downsizing. However, the husband wanted to donate a bagpipe chanter and educational books to go with it. In his day, he had every intention of learning to become a piper. But sometimes age and health have different ideas. So he offered to us. This would be a first in our 12 year history 🤣

So, if you know anyone in the Waterloo region (kids and adolescents only) that wants to learn, have them send a msg through out contact page:)

In partnership with our friends at Mini Mall Storage, Guitars for Kids will join in the fun at the Customer Appreciation Day event on Sat Dec 20 from 1-4pm.

If you have an old instrument that you'd like to donate to Guitars for Kids, this is your chance to drop it off.

Visit Santa, have a snack, win a prize, and donate to the Food Bank, all at the same time!

Well, we're a couple weeks out from Xmas and we here at Guitars For Kids-WATERLOO Region are ready! :) This year, we have 20 instruments available to help some families in our Region who could use a little assist for this upcoming holiday season. These 20 instruments are over and above our regular day to day inventory:)
