I am excited to announce my first live painting, expo, and sale for next weekend at the In Bloom cannabis expo in Toronto. Hopefully the first of many to come.

Cubed ³ 20 x16 acrylic on canvas. This painting has been a journey for me, after more than a year in the making and numerous creative block im finally happy with the outcome. This painting is my attempt to use patterns and perspective to render a Mandelbox fractal to capture the transcendent aspect of our 3d reality

My favorite spring blossom

She flowers unabashedly in the spring time sun.
Like a sentinel of summer in the cool spring rains.
Do not blink for you will let her beauty pass you by.
Although admire your brief time in her presence
For she will be gone before you know.
She is a symbol for the temporary and transient nature of our reality. The universe unravels itself in her spectacular glory.
She is a Magnolia.

My newest work 24" x18" acrylic on canvas. This piece uses a base geometry of the islamic star pattern based on a tesselation of a 12 fold rosette. The center is a simple 12 fold rosette overlayed by metatron's cube. Which reperesents the union of western mathematics to that of acient islamic mathematics. Both geometries can be found in Hebrew and Islamic scripture, showing the universal language of patterns, mathematics and geometry.
