🎶 1. Legal Music (CONNECT Licence: )In Canada, commercial DJs need a federal CONNECT licence to legally copy and play music on laptops or USBs. Licensed DJs use high-quality, legal tracks so your party never gets interrupted.
🛡️ 2. Financial Protection (Liability Insurance): Pros carry at least $2M in Commercial General Liability insurance. If a guest trips over a wire or equipment damages the venue, you won’t be held financially responsible for lawsuits.
🏨 3. Venue Access: Most top venues in Calgary, Edmonton, and the Rockies will not let uninsured vendors through the door. They require a Certificate of Insurance (COI) before setup.
