The Shakespeare Company We're Calgary’s lean and mean classical theatre company, highlighting the best of the Bard in all

The Shakespeare Company is Calgary's classical theatre company. Our 'lean and mean' approach highlights the best of Shakespeare, in all its comedy, tragedy, and bawdiness. We strives to entertain, educate and inspire audiences and artists through the production of world class Shakespeare.

Tis Pity She’s a W***e follows the doomed tragedy of Giovanni and Annabella as the audience discovers their secrets. By the end, much like Romeo and Juliet, we are rooting for this doomed love to succeed even though in no sane world would it make sense for the two of them to end up together. Penned in 1626 by John Ford,
Tis Pity She’s a W***e brings to the stage murder, intrigue, and an incestuous love affair.

We are thrilled to support Fallon Smyl in bringing this production to the stage. Get tickets at https://www.fallonsmyl.com/tispity
