“We look forward to seeing what unfolds through these windows in the years ahead.”
That was the message from WinSport’s President and CEO, Barry Heck, during a sneak peek of our newly reimagined Day Lodge last week.
It was a pleasure to welcome friends, partners, supporters, and community leaders as we celebrated an important milestone. We were thrilled to provide tours of our new Day Lodge, designed with an emphasis on accessibility, inclusivity and sustainability, and to share our vision for the future.
We also made three exciting announcements — the unveiling of the Bowhead Adaptive Up Track, the introduction of the Indigenous Pathways Program, and our continued collaboration with CADS Calgary to ensure all students can participate alongside their classmates in our schools program.
We were inspired by stories from Sawyer Murray and Olympic bronze medallist Brendan Mackay, whose experiences highlighted the lasting impact sport can have on individuals, families, and communities.
As guests gathered in the Grand Hall, many paused to take in the view of our hill and imagine what the years ahead might bring.
Whatever the future of sport and recreation looks like, WinSport intends to help shape it — and to remain at the heart of it.
