Calgary Girls Choir

Calgary Girls Choir Led by renowned choral conductor and educator Elaine Quilichini, Calgary Girls Choir's mission is to inspire and empower girls and women through choral arts.

Programs include Dolce (Gr.1-4), Viva (Gr. 4-7), Brava (Gr. 7-12), and Espressa Women's Choir. The Calgary Girls Choir invites young girls and women (age 5 and up) who love to sing to join the Calgary Girls Choir. Our exceptional choirs teach girls and young women to be inspired and engaged through music. The choir experience is based on the Kodály philosophy; includes exceptional choral music edu

cation, performance, and touring opportunities. Our girls and young women develop poise, confidence, responsibility and lots have fun! Our Choirs: Dolce (Grades 1-5), Viva (Grades 4-7), Brava (Grade 7 and up), Espressa (Adult - age 19 and up)

The 2026-2027 season of the Calgary Girls Choir is ready to welcome new and returning singers!

From Grade 1 through Adult, there’s a choir for every star of the musical journey. Our season runs September through May and offers inspiring musical experiences, friendships, confidence-building, and exceptional choral training.

• Dolce — Grades 1-4
• Viva — Grades 4-7
• Brava — Grade 7+

An excerpt of our commission piece: Caminante!

Performed in Altea, the Spanish audiences were surprised and excited that we had commissioned a work for our tour of Spain. Every audience member knew the famous Machado poem and were very enthusiastic.
