CYPT FUN 50/50 RAFFLE: The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival

08/30/2026

🎭😂 WHAT A WEEKEND!

It has been such an exciting weekend for us at the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival — and our 50/50 pot has officially grown to $73,380.00! 🤯

And there’s still 12 HOURS LEFT to get your ticket!

The winner will take home HALF THE POT, with the draw happening tomorrow morning at West Village Theatre. And you don’t have to be at the festival to take part or win!

Even better, your ticket supports Calgary Young People’s Theatre and our year-round programming for young people. Plus, our portion of the funds can be matched through the Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink fundraising campaign.

So if you’ve been thinking about grabbing a ticket… TODAY IS THE DAY.

You could wake up tomorrow with half of $73,380. 👀💰

🎟️ Get your 50/50 ticket before sales close!

🎟️ FOUR TICKETS. TWO SHOWS. ONE 50/50 TICKET.

We’ve teamed up with the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival for a giveaway!

Buy a CYPT 50/50 ticket between now and Thursday at 11:59 PM and you’ll automatically be entered to win one of two ticket packages:

☀️ Sunday afternoon: 4 tickets to see Tig Notaro & company

🌙 Sunday evening: 4 tickets to see John Mulaney & company

We’ll be drawing two winners, one for each show.

Of course, there’s still the actual 50/50 to win. Half of the pot goes to the winner, while the other half supports CYPT’s fundraising initiatives and can be matched by up to 50% through Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink.

Every ticket helps us continue creating theatre opportunities for young people — from productions and drama classes to summer camps, bursaries, Cannonball, teen writing, and our new theatre design and improv programming.

Basically: support CYPT, get entered to win comedy tickets, and maybe walk away with half the pot too.

Deadline: Thursday at 11:59 PM.

🚨 CONTEST ALERT 🚨

We’re giving away FOUR tickets to TWO different shows at the 2026 Great Outdoors Comedy Festival — and all you have to do to enter is support CYPT’s 50/50 raffle!

Anyone who buys a CYPT 50/50 ticket between now and Thursday at 11:59 PM will automatically be entered into the draw.

🎟️ One winner gets 4 tickets to the Sunday afternoon show featuring Tig Notaro & company.

🎟️ One winner gets 4 tickets to the Sunday evening show featuring John Mulaney & company.

That’s TWO separate draws. TWO groups of four tickets. And TWO very good reasons to grab a 50/50 ticket.

And the best part? Your purchase is doing more than getting you entered. 50% of the pot goes to the winner, while the remaining 50% supports CYPT’s fundraising initiatives and is eligible to be matched by up to 50% through Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink.
Your support helps us keep creating opportunities for young people through our year-round programming, bursaries, theatre productions, summer camps, our Cannonball Festival, teen writing programs, and our growing theatre design and improv programs.

So… want to see some comedy AND support youth theatre? Seems like a pretty good deal.

Buy your CYPT 50/50 ticket before Thursday at 11:59 PM to be entered!
