Yes, you read that right — the winning corgi will be crowned and their owner will take a ride in a Lamborghini 🏎️👑🐶

📍 Downtown Mercedes-Benz Pre- Owned (1333 9 Ave SW, Calgary)

We’re teaming up with Bespoke Car Club for an epic night of adorable chaos and high-speed tail wags — welcome to CARS & CORGIS!

🕖 Schedule:

🐾 FREE Races & Practice Runs: 7:00–7:30 PM

💛 Charity Race: Starts at 7:30 PM

➤ $10 to enter (EVERY penny goes to support children's mental health via CASA Mental Health)

📋 Sign-Up:

All racers must register day of at the registration table

🎁 Prizes for the Charity Race Winner:

👑 Bespoke Crown

🎉 $200 Corgi Prize Pack from Petfinity

THANK YOU for making the Furry Fun Fest absolutely amazing! 🐶🌧️💛

You braved the mud, cheered your hearts out, and made it a day to remember. Everything went off without a hitch – and that’s because of YOU: this incredible corgi-loving community. 🫶

Back in 2021, I fell in love with corgi racing at Day of the Dog – the OGs of fun, fast, and furry races! And now, we’re SO excited to announce that Calgary Corgi Racers is teaming up with The Day Of The Dog for one epic race day NEXT SATURDAY!

📍 Where: Calgary East Village
8th Ave SE (between 4th + 6th)
📅 When: Saturday, July 26
🕚 Registration before 11:00 AM- be there early because it gets BUSY!
🏁 Race starts at 11:00 AM sharp!

✨ It’s totally FREE to race and attend – with tons of amazing vendors and activities for you and your pup. Stop by our booth, say hi, and grab some exclusive racer merch! 🏆💛🐾

Hi Racers!

We’re so excited to see you tomorrow for the big race at the Furry Fun Fest at Cochrane Lions Centre!

Here’s what you need to know:

🕚 Check-In: 11:15 AM – 11:30 AM
You'll get your pup’s heat number and position at this time. If your corgi loves to run, use this time to warm up (practice races) or explore the vendor booths!

🎵 We plan to kick things off at 12:00 PM sharp, with a DJ reading out names to help you know when it's your turn.

🏁 Race Heats:

Heats 1–3: Pembroke Welsh Corgis

Heat 4: Cardigan & Mixed Corgis (combined)

Heat 5: Pembroke Final (top dogs from Heats 1–3)
Followed by awards and a meet & greet!

🌧 Weather: We race rain or shine! Rain isn’t expected until later in the afternoon. If pups get muddy, PetValu (our prize sponsor) is offering free dog washes just 4 minutes away!

📍 Finding Us: We’re on the field – look for the Petfinity tent!
