Cree8 Calgary Cree8 was created in June of 2008 by Chantal Chagnon.

Cree8 was created by Cree Métis Artist and Educator, Chantal Chagnon, with a focus on sharing Culture, History and Traditional Arts to create understanding, teach and foster meaningful connections and community. Our focus is sharing Indigenous Culture through singing, drumming, storytelling, and ‘Cree8-tive’ traditional arts & crafts workshops, special events, cultural performances and ceremony.

I am going sage-picking on Sunday, Aug. 25th at 9:00 a.m. If any ladies (or fem identifying folks) would like to join us, we will be meeting at the Owls' Nest Parking Lot, corner John Laurie @ Brisbois Drive NW. Please wear a skirt, hat. bring a chair to sit on, water to drink, to***co, print or scarf to carry sage, scissors and something to share for the mini-feast. Feel free to bring your drum or rattle.
