On Friday, September 11, If you like your country music LIVE, loud and made for dancing, you’re going to want to be here!

ROBERT GOSSE
Calgary-based country artist Robert Gosse brings a high-energy, authentic live show packed with great songwriting, big country sound and the kind of stage presence that keeps a dance floor moving.
Raised in a musical household — his father, Bobby Gosse, is a well-known name in the Calgary music scene — Robert grew up surrounded by music before carving out a sound all his own.
Blending traditional country influences with a modern edge and inspiration ranging from Johnny Cash to Zac Brown, Robert has been steadily making his mark with songs including Blackjack, In a Country Song, Drink ’Em If You Got ’Em and Who’s Running This Town. The latter earned airplay on SiriusXM and a nomination for Country Recording of the Year at the YYC Music Awards.

Calgary-bred. Road-tested. Heavy as hell. THIS FRIDAY!!

Sittin’ Idol came up the old-school way — loud rooms, long roads and no shortcuts. They tore across Canada and the U.S., sharing stages with Damageplan, Godsmack, Saliva, Shinedown and more before life pulled them in different directions.

Now Scott Lennox, Rick Hatch, Greg Kristianson & Stu Purpur are back where they belong.
No nostalgia act. No polished bu****it.

Just heavy riffs, massive energy and four guys who still know how to burn down a stage.

Kicking off the night is The Atomic Era. Influenced by some of rock's hardest hitters, The Atomic Era is the band to watch out for. This Calgary-based act brings together musical sensibilities straight from the playbooks of bands like Bad Religion, The Darkness, and countless guitar-driven anthems from the 70's to now.

Every year we do a birthday party for this Firehouse and this year is no different!

This is the Firehouses 9th Birthday party! It's crazy that we are only one year away from double digits!

Fraid Knot: Western Canada’s hardest working ambassadors of contemporary Celtic music!

Calmer than the Drop Kick Murphy’s, edgier than Great Big Sea, happier than the Pogues and still traditional enough to please the ear of many a purist, Fraid Knot truly bridges the gap between Celtic and Rock. The band is a technical, high energy group of musicians who embrace elements from Scottish, Irish and of course Canadian music to serve up their own unique “knotified” sound that is present in both original music as well as their interpretation of Celtic classics.

Its a tradition to bring them in for our birthday celebration. Why would we ever change that?

For over 25 years, Silly Wrabbit has been lighting up dance floors across Calgary with their outrageous energy, choreographed moves, and just the right amount of hilarious chaos.
