We offer to***co and softly say,
"Thank you Creator and Mother Earth.
Thank you sage for all your worth."

Sage is good medicine, gentle and kind.
When we smudge, we calm our body, spirit and mind.
We take a breath, let big feelings go,
To make good choices as we grow.

Never pull the root, you see.
So, Sage can grow for you and me.
Thank you, Sage, kind and true.

The Métis sash is bright and bold,
With lots of stories to be told.

A symbol of pride from days gone by,
With colours that dance and catch the eye.

It carried heavy loads and helped out, too,
Towing canoes when needed to.

It even helped in emergencies, when times were tough,
Proving one sash, could be enough.

The original utility belt, strong and grand,
A Métis helper across the land! ❤️💙💛💚

✨ The puppets had a lot to say today, but the laughter from all our little visitors stole the show! ❤️

Thank you to every child and family who joined us. We are so grateful we could learn, laugh, and share stories together.

We smudge and we pray for each of our young friends, wishing them continued learning, healthy bodies, happy spirits, strong hearts, and bright futures. 🌿

Keep growing, keep laughing, and keep being curious, little ones. 🧸💙
