Who is ?
“Quality workmanship, attention to detail and a sense of humour are the core of Andrea's work. Her pieces are inspired by events or everyday experiences and the feeling of a story to be told.
"Seeing people laugh at my work or hearing how it has made them feel is really gratifying. I also love hearing what they think it means and how their interpretation is different from what I intended the work to represent."
Andrea layers textures and glazes using various techniques to give depth to her work through pattern and colour.
Andrea uses a combination of her own glazes and slips and commercial products to achieve her unique look and feel. She is drawn to making whimsical, colourful things full of patterns, textures, and flowers.
