To our wonderful members. Due to some ongoing health issues Reflections Roe Dojo will be suspending classes. I hope in the near future to resume teaching but for now I can not.

I want to thank each and every one of you for making Reflections Rope Dojo a home and community. You all brought so much love and joy.

We have had lots of requests for private lessons. Looking at opening our studio one or two times a month for day bookings in rwo hour slots.

Private lessons will be a more expensive experience bit would this be something you are interested in?

It's official, We have a home! Starting in May we have a permanent home. We will be opening out of Evergreen Community Spaces in NE Calgary. Cedar Studio
This is a creative commons space and as such all spaces are family friendly (except our class is 18+). What that means is no kink. Vanilla Attire ONLY in the building. Please respect the family environment.
There is plenty of parking available and the bus stops across the street for it.
This is a space where we can grow the number of classes and the Dojo community.
Classes now start promptly at 7:10pm and will end at 8:50pm. Doors open at 7pm. Please plan accordingly for class times as we have strict in and out times.

We look forward to growing with you.

Tonight, April 7, 2023 class is full. We have a level two class ( chest harnesses) happening in two weeks and our next class date will be posted soon, as we have some exciting news coming.

So many new followers and new faces. I'd like to thank each of you for making Reflections Rope Dojo what it is and introduce myself to everyone.

I am the sole owner and teacher of Reflections Rope Dojo. We started small with Calgary's own Doug Smode teaching. Now I have some big shoes to fill. I took over ownership and teaching a little over 1 year ago and have spent that time building classes that are open to the public.

The Dojo is a consent driven, member focused studio. We are all inclusive and take pride in what we do. During my weekend at Taboo, I spoke to many people about the Dojo and what they would like to see. Yoga and fitness components were high on the suggestion list.

So we found a certified yoga instructor that brings her energy and bubbly personality to each class. I can't wait for us to have a space to offer her full time classes to everyone. Miss Yulia, is a wonderful addition to Reflections Rope Dojo.

To the alternative s*x community I am Miss Aayden. I have a focus on education and live to share my knowledge, resources and help everyone explore their s*xy side. To the Dojo, I Bring my rope, my love of teaching and a sense of business.

Forever greatful to my partner in life. B, lends his time, wit and the occasional limb for demos to help see the Dojo through each night.

Without all of you and my small team, the Dojo wouldn't be here. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Wonder what our levels are all about? Here is the low down on what is taking shape at Reflections Rope Dojo

We are in the beginning phases of constructing our classes for ongoing learning. We hope you will grow and learn with us. Currently, we are teaching and refining our Beginner Levels. Look for our additions soon. Remember all classes have a fitness component to them taught by a certified instructor.

Beginner Levels - Take the class as often as needed to gain fundamentals in rope, then move on or jump in for a refresher.
Neo Kimbaku Floor Work
Level 1 - Our Knot Trinity, Pistol Grip, Single and Double Column Ties +more.
Level 2 - Compressed vs. Non- compressed Chest Harnesses focusing on Takate Gote and Shinju ties + more.
Level 3 - Hip Harneses focused on 1 and 2-leg lock-offs. Traditional Rescue Harness and Gunslinger styles + more.
Level 4 - Compressed arm and Leg Ties focusing on Frog and Ladder Ties. Full Diamond Harnesses +more.

Intermediate - These levels require many classes each to master the skill being taught.
Various Sh***ri Styles
Level 1 -Takatekote chest harness with a tie for suspension variation +more
Level 2 - Ki***ku Theory, Partial Suspensions, Kazami and Nawa Hip Harnesses +more.
Level 3 - Learning the Tasuki, Calf Binder, and St*****do to complete 6 different suspensions + more. This is an intensive class with multiple days required to attend.

Advanced Suspensions - Must have a mastery of all previous classes to attend.
Level 4- This class covers 8 advanced suspensions as well as advanced theory. This is ongoing learning and not a 1-and-done class.
