Busy afternoon at TELUS Spark Science Centre! We're there again from 12 - 2 on October 18th, 25th and 31st for HallowSteam.

After we checked out the amazing Sue the T-Rex exhibit. Having seen the real skeleton at the Field Museum in Chicago, it was cool to see the replica of the largest complete T-Rex skeleton ever found right here in Calgary.

Our October Kids Clubs and PD Days are creeping up like a spider to a fly in a web!

Every Halloween stores are filled with decorations of "spooky" creatures like snakes, spiders, toads, and scorpions. Join us to get up close and personal with some of these not so terrifying creatures and separate facts from fiction.

Three locations for clubs! Join us at Park96 Killarney-Glengarry Community Association or Capitol Hill Community, Calgary AB

Kids Clubs include a hands on program with Q&A, a take home activity sheet, and a posed digital photo with a reptile.

Reptile Camp is a full day and includes a take home craft, educational videos, games and outdoor activities.

And for the animal loving teenager, our Teen Club connects youth with other reptile enthusiasts for the hands on program and digital photo.

Thenk you to everyone who came by our table at Calgary Horror Con last weekend. We had people conquer fears, hold snakes and spiders, and learn about our programs.

One of the highlights was the kids from The Monster Squad being in attendance. As one of Jason's favourite movies, it was wonderful to meet Andre Gower, Lisa Fuller, Michael Faustino, Ashley Bank and Ryan Lambert Very friendly and awesome people.

Aaand... Michael played Eugene who had his tw***ie stolen by the Creature from the Black Lagoon. So my creatures gave him tw***ies.

The important lesson I learned from Monster Squad is one I've saved for if I ever encounter a Werewolf.

Excited to be visiting Calgary Public Library Branches this month with Spooky Spides, Snakes and More

"Every Halloween stores fill with decorations of "creepy" creatures like snakes and spiders. Join Calgary Reptile Parties at the library to explore myths and realities of these misunderstood creatures in a hands on, interactive program.

The saying "time flies when you're having fun" hits home today.
18 years ago we launched Calgary Reptile Parties at the TARAS expo at the Ogden Legion. That building is gone. A lot of the other vendors have left the industry. Expos have moved to new locations and evolved. And we're still here.

It wasn't always easy. But there have been so many moments over the years of connection and impacting people and animals, We've experienced so many unforseen magical things over the past 18 years. Summer Camps. Travel. Filming SCALED for Animal Planet. All of that came from a guy with a dream.

To every client that has booked us, every staff person who has presented or worked behind the scenes. Every volunteer and every kid.

Thank you for the last 18 years.
