Youth Singers of Calgary SING! DANCE! ACT! Youth Singers of Calgary (YSC) is a vibrant performing arts company for all ages!

Since its inception in 1985 by founder Shirley Penner, Youth Singers of Calgary has positively impacted the lives of thousands of singers, their families, and the arts community as a whole. Through music, theatre arts, and dance, Youth Singers shapes leaders, teachers, and global citizens who in turn shape the communities they live and work in. Starting with 28 junior high school students, the org

anization has expanded to 500 singers ranging in age from 3.5 to adult, providing its singers with a wonderfully diverse repertoire that spans all centuries and styles of music. Springing up around this core group is a vast community of families and volunteers who supply in excess 35,000 hours of volunteer commitment annually.

Our Kids and Music program is still accepting registration for the Fall for singers in Pre K to Grade 2!

Weekly Kodaly based singing classes for children ages 3.5-8. This inclusive program builds foundational musical skills, confidence, and creativity, through music, movement, and play in a safe, screen-free environment designed for young learners.

• Pre-K, Kindergarten, Grade 1 & Grade 2 sessions available based on age/grade in September
• Classes offered Thursdays and Saturdays
•Small class sizes with highly qualified instructors
