Happy New Year! As we step into 2026, we’re delighted to share the launch of Season Six at Theatre 1308 - a season that celebrates collaboration, experimentation, and the remarkable creative community that gathers in our space.
This season features two concert series spanning six events, presenting original work by more than 35 individual artists across music and visual art. Season Six continues Theatre 1308’s commitment to championing new ideas, bold voices, and meaningful artistic exchange, and we are deeply grateful for the ongoing support of the Calgary Arts Development which helps make this work possible.
We’re thrilled to continue the much-loved Calgary Jazz Composers Collective, with Volumes 11, 12, and 13, curated by Jonathan McCaslin - an ever-evolving showcase of original jazz by some of Calgary’s most forward-thinking musicians.
Alongside it, we introduce Cadavre Exquis, a new chain-reaction series of visual art and new music curated by Jeremy Gignoux, where each event responds to and transforms what came before.
We invite you to come experience the incredible wealth of talent, curiosity, and creativity that defines our community. Season Six promises discovery, risk, and connection - and we can’t wait to share it with you.
