This Thanksgiving, our dance family filled the branches of our gratitude tree with their reasons to be thankful. Our own gratitude reaches every corner of the studio. 🍂

We’re thankful for our teachers, who inspire our children every day and help them believe in themselves; for Miss Teri, whose genuine care for our kids reaches far beyond the studio walls; and for our Board, who give their time and energy to keep our studio flowing.

And we’re thankful for every child and family who brings this place to life. Your laughter, your friendships, your small victories, and your everyday presence make Pure Energy what it is.

Some of the most meaningful lessons happen when we make space for someone to share their story. 🧡

For National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Lynnisa joined our dancers to talk about what this day means, share her culture, and teach them steps of the jingle dress dance. Through conversation and movement, she gave our children an opportunity to connect, ask questions, and learn.

At Pure Energy, we want the lessons our dancers carry home to reach beyond choreography. We want to nurture curiosity, kindness, and respect. To help children appreciate cultures and experiences beyond their own, and know that their own identities belong here, too.

Truth and Reconciliation asks us to listen to Indigenous voices, understand the history and lasting impacts of residential schools, and carry that learning into our everyday actions.

Our studio is a place where children get to move, laugh, learn and be themselves. On September 30, we hold close the truth that many Indigenous children were taken from their families and never had the chance to grow up with those freedoms. 🧡

As we gather on Treaty 7 land, we hope families will talk with their children about what “every child matters” means. Listen to Indigenous voices. Learn the history. Let it change what we teach, what we notice and how we care for one another, long after September 30.

We’ll be open Wednesday, with classes running as scheduled, and dancers are invited to wear orange.

Bring a Friend Week brought double the smiles, double the giggles, and a whole lot of extra energy to the studio!

From showing off favourite moves to trying something new together, we loved watching our dancers share a little piece of their dance world with their friends. 🩰🕺

Our Adult Aerial Fitness class took off with a bang! 🎉

Miss Tatti brings together strength training, aerial yoga and the expressive movement of dance to create a full-body workout that feels more like play.

This unique fusion helps:

Our Back to Dance Open House is less than 24 hours away, and we couldn’t be more excited! 💚

Join your dancer for an afternoon of movement, connection and discovery. While they explore different dance styles, you can tour the studio, meet our teachers, ask questions and experience the Pure Energy community alongside them.

Dancers joining the sampler should arrive by 2:30 and wear something comfortable to move in.
