Here is the most recent update for Spectrum glass! Oceanside Glass and tile will start producing their glass nuggets as well! Meanwhile we still wait for Oceanside to put out a better array of colors in their sheet glass.

In September of 2016 we announced our intention to identify a site in Eastern Washington to setup a new smaller facility to produce Studio & Premium Nuggets®.
Since September 2016, our team did a fantastic job moving our Nugget production from a hand ladled process to production from a continuous flow furnace. This change resulted in a process that required less physical labor and produced a higher quality product.
Through investigation of a number of potential sites in Eastern Washington, we were able to gather a better idea of the potential cost of setting up a new factory producing only Nuggets.
To our great dismay, we've determined that setting up a factory producing only Nuggets could be a much bigger investment and with greater risk than originally anticipated.
As an alternative, we turned to Oceanside Glass, the purchaser of our colored sheet glass business. Oceanside Glass has purchased our Nugget formulas and equipment. We believe the market will be better served in the long-term by a larger company of Oceanside Glass' size. Oceanside Glass will be able to provide the same level of technical support and innovation that Spectrum Glass has provided for the last 10 plus years of production of Nuggets.
Oceanside Glass does not yet have an immediate timeline for production of Studio and Premium Nuggets. That timeline will likely be determined in Late 2018 or Early 2019.
We currently have a significant inventory of our Studio & Premium Nuggets remaining at our Spectrum Glass Woodinville facility, which we hope to sell by the end of the year.
