Calgary's first and only dance studio dedicated to educating and promoting street dance and Hip Hop culture. We offer recreational classes for kids as young as 3, teens, and adults at various levels. From Breaking, Dancehall, Locking, Popping, and Hip Hop to Choreography, West African, and House - there's an exciting and fun class for just about everyone. We are also very active on the local level

After a jam-packed summer of classes with Travis, we have a little news to share.

Travis Nguyen will be taking a short break this Fall to recharge, but don’t worry, he’ll be back this Winter!
For now, these will be the last summer classes:
☆ K-Pop — August 31
☆ House & Campbellocking — September 1

We’ll also be welcoming temporary instructors this Fall, who we’ll be announcing very soon 👀

Thank you for making this summer so special! We can’t wait to keep dancing with you this Fall and have Travis back in the studio this Winter.

She’s seeking dancers with strong foundations in both Streetdance and Heels who are ready to draw on their personal experiences to shape this work.

All gender identities are welcomed and encouraged to audition 🤍

Whether you just took your very first dance class or you’ve been stepping into the cypher for over 20 years, attending a workshop (or two!) with a pioneer like Suga Pop is an experience you can’t put a price tag on.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do—learning directly from the lineage, honouring the history and carrying the knowledge forward into our own movement.

A massive thank you to Suga Pop for sharing his time, craft and words of wisdom across two incredible workshops last week 🙏 We hope to see you again at the studio soon!

Veronika is a dancer and choreographer based in Calgary. Having spent the last seven years working at PULSE, she has had the opportunity to work with dancers of all ages and levels within the community. With training in both streetdance styles and heels, Veronika’s approach to choreography, teaching and performing is heavily influenced by her evolving streetdance foundation.

While most dance styles evolve slowly over time, Hip Hop is famous for constantly reinventing itself. ✨

From Krumping and Waacking to Tutting, Hip Hop dancers are always finding new ways to express themselves. However, Animation Dance stands out with its unexpected origin story and how it continues to influence modern dance.

Our Intro to Animation class is a beginner level class that focuses on techniques and drills for understanding Animation and dancing in general.

With Miranda Kamenz as our instructor, we get to challenge the mind and body every Thursday from the moment we warm up to the end of class. Each week is a bit different, but we promise you’ll keep coming back to learn and feel more.
