🎪 We’re almost there, but we still need a few more volunteers for the Green Fools Casino Fundraiser!

Our casino on October 22 & 23 is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and the funds raised make a huge difference in supporting Green Fools’ performances, education programs, Social Circus initiatives and community work throughout the year.

We’re looking to fill the last few shifts, including some important casino roles such as Banker, Cashier, Chiprunner, General Manager and Spare positions.

If you can lend us a few hours, we would be incredibly grateful. No casino experience is required, and training is provided.

👉 See the remaining shifts and sign up here:

Please share with anyone who might be able to help us fill those final spots!

Audrey II is making headlines!

CTV News Calgary recently featured Theatre Calgary’s production of Little Shop of Horrors, with its giant, scene-stealing house plant taking centre stage.

We are incredibly proud to have been part of this production by creating all of the Audrey II puppets and helping bring this iconic character to life on stage.

We love every opportunity to bring a character to life through puppetry, and projects like this are always a fun reminder of just how much creativity, collaboration and craftsmanship goes into what audiences eventually see on stage.

Congratulations to the entire Little Shop of Horrors cast and creative team on a fantastic opening!

Catch the production at Theatre Calgary through October 25, and check out the CTV News feature to see Audrey II in action:

It isn’t often you wait until the curtain call to meet the star of the show, but that’s exactly what happened Friday night at the conclusion of Theatre Calgary’s wild and woolly -- and very funny -- production of Little Shop of Horrors.

🎪 Meet Tyson McKay, our new Circus Coordinator!

Tyson’s path to circus has taken a few unexpected turns, from competitive gymnastics and wakeboarding to engineering, oil and gas, web development, wedding officiating and nearly a decade as a stay-at-home dad to his twin daughters.

But throughout it all, circus kept finding its way back in.

After receiving his first set of juggling balls as a teenager, Tyson slowly built a love for juggling, balance and circus arts.

Years later, a Green Fools circus residency happened to land at the school where his wife was teaching. She encouraged him to apply, and the rest is becoming Green Fools history.

Tyson first joined us as a Circus Instructor and we’re thrilled to now welcome him into the role of Circus Coordinator, where he’ll continue sharing his skills, curiosity and love of circus with our community.

Outside of Green Fools, you’ll find Tyson reading, gaming, woodworking, crocheting, playing badminton, skiing, waterskiing or out walking his dog.

Please help us give Tyson a big Green Fools welcome! 🎉
