Allow us to introduce you to our harmonic Sound Designer of Austentatious, Owen Jones.

Owen is an aspiring sound designer in the Calgary theatre scene. He got his start with StoryBook Theatre’s production of The Music Man, and continued with Heathers, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical.

Owen is grateful to have this opportunity to work with Forte Musical Theatre Guild, and looks forward to working with the fantastic team.

Austentatious may be a retelling of Pride and Prejudice, but we sure take a number of turns along the way.

We have a clueless director, an egotistical writer/choreographer/leading lady, a scorned diva, an overlooked veteran, the stoned newcomer, an overwhelmed stage manager trying to hold it all together, and one outrageous clog number.

This hilarious musical follows the group's journey as they unwittingly butcher Jane Austen's beloved classic. With a jazzy score and shenanigans galore, Austentatious is terrible theater at its absolute comedic best.
