Custom Bowling Services Update
Twenty-nine years ago my Wife Deb Chan and I met Ron and Edwina Hoppe. Little did we know that this would be a Life Changing Event. Ron saw something in Deb. He encouraged her interest in Bowling to pursue Coaching and Instruction of Tenpin Bowling.
This led to Deb earning Coaching Certification Level III NCCP Bowling. Also earning Bronze Level Coaching Certification in USA Bowling (Currently known as USBC). Deb joined the National Coaching Pool in 2000 and remained a Team CANADA Junior National Coach until 2011.
During this period of time I accompanied Deb to her Coaching Postings at World Junior Tournaments, PABCON Junior Tournaments and Tournament of the Americas Junior Tournaments. My role was as a Technical Services Coach. My travel and accommodations were at my expense, but the experience was Priceless.
Fast forward twenty-eight years later. Deb is still involved in the Splitsville Highfield Youth Program. Additionally providing Mentorship to developing Youth Program Coaches.
As for myself at the ripe old age of 73 years, I continue to pursue knowledge on new techniques, methodology for Fitting, Drilling and effective Layouts of Bowling balls.
Utilizing my Coaching Training and Certification I conduct Private and Group Bowling Instruction as requested.
I was invited by the Glencoe Club in Calgary to provide Fitting and Drilling Services for their Membership. This association started 18 months ago and continues to grow.
I have clients from areas outside of Calgary, including Banff, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Red Deer and Edmonton.
I provide Fitting and Drilling services to the Splitsville Highfield Youth League. Custom Bowling Services facilitates Fund raising opportunities for the Splitsville Highfield Youth League as well

Utilization of this equipment, my on going search for knowledge and experience allows me to offer the Best Service Experience to my Clients.
I continue to strive to serve the Bowling Community as Best as possible. My personal order of importance for aspiring Bowlers is:
1. Seek a Good Base Fit
2. Get Tenpin Bowling Coaching from a Good qualified Bowling Coach
3. Practice, Practice, Practice.
Once you have developed a good level of Bowling Skills as confirmed by your Coach, then you can consider Ball Selections and possible Performance Fitting adjustments.
REMEMBER
You can’t Outcoach a Bad Fit.
There are no Magic Balls, only Magic Bowlers!
Thank you to my current and former clients.
Welcome to my Future Clients I have yet to meet.
