It’s Bow Habitat Station, without the kids and we are turning up the heat in the Incubation Room on June 25.

Get up close and personal with the trout of your dreams at fish feeding and chat with experts from community partners like the Creative Science Alliance, Green Calgary, and Friends of Fish Creek, adding their own twist to the night.

No alcohol will be served, but don’t worry, we’re bringing the energy, and the buzz will be just as strong!

That's how many hours our volunteers gave to Bow Habitat Station in 2025.

During , we’re celebrating the people behind those hours — the individuals who help spark curiosity about Alberta’s fish, water, and ecosystems and create meaningful connections between people and the environment, one experience at a time.

Volunteers have been part of Bow Habitat Station since the early 1990s, helping build the foundation of what would become our Discovery Centre. Today, they continue that legacy by welcoming families, leading hands-on activities, and supporting our events.

915 hours of sparked curiosity, connections made, and community built.
