Maybe you heard, but CSIF is moving! Our new location will be at #2 - 6110 1A Street SW starting on November 1.

That means throughout October we need help moving. First there is some painting and light carpentry that has to happen in the new space. Then equipment, technology, and office furniture will need to be transported.

Food will be provided for volunteers.

Ready to make your first feature?

You may have seen this in last week’s newsletter. But we have opened submissions for CSIF’s First Feature Intensive. If accepted into this cohort you will receive: script mentorship; support on how to make a budget for a low budget film ($200k to $500k); guidance on pitching; and other essential topics.

What you need to do before submitting your interest:
-have a full core creative team of writer, director, and producer. (Directors may NOT also be a producer in any proposal)
-all team members must be a CSIF member with no outstanding fees, and provide a film resume with application
-a complete draft script

Apply to [email protected]
This is also where you can send any questions you may have.
