Proud to announce that my song "There Is a River" just won the grand prize in the Great American Song Contest! It's only been released on Patreon so far, but today I put it up on scottcook dot net to celebrate. That's Pamela on double bass, Justin Vilchez on mandolin, Pete Fidler on dobro, Miles Wilkinson co-producing and Brad Smith mixing and mastering. Very cool to receive this award last night! Thanks to the Canadian Folk Music Awards and big congrats to fellow nominees.

Great the awards happened in Calgary where there are so many venues for songwriters! My band and I are proud of this album and will be touring it this summer!
