SHE-WOLF! Before Gage Golightly infected audiences as the teen camper who becomes primary victim of the unknown flesh-eating disease in CABIN FEVER (2016), the revisioning sequel of Eli Roth's classic, Gage shone in TEEN WOLF (2011) as the lovely femme-fatale werewolf, Erica Reyes, prominently featured in seasons Two and Three as the sickly student transformed by a bite from the alpha Derek to become one of his pack.
Later appearing in iZOMBIE (2015) as investigative reporter Alice "Al" Bronson across several episodes during the final season, her character profiled the villainous businessman Blaine DeBeers and stirred up trouble by digging into allegations of his illegal activities.
While mostly playing in comedies and dramas throughout her career, Gage kept things spooky as the cheerleading female lead in the monster hunter series, THE TROOP (2009). With a popular four-year run, this award-winning youth series featured a group of teens who fought to protect the world from supernatural creatures, including everything from dragons to vampire hamsters, while attending high school.
Following her TEEN WOLF howl, Gage jumped into the stoner demonic possession horror/comedy EXETER (2015), along with great genre villain Stephen Lang, as she crab-walks her way through this overlooked offering from Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions and director Marcus Nispel, remaker of classic films such as TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (2003) and FRIDAY THE 13TH (2009), along with other producers of the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY (2007) and INSIDIOUS (2010) franchises.

Kicking off Calgary Horror Con 14 announcements is

CAROLINE WILLIAMS - Best known from TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2 (1986) as radio disc jockey Vanita "Stretch" Brock, Caroline was unfortunate enough to record the film's first chainsaw murders during a request call, and then teams up with Dennis Hopper's Texas Ranger to seek out the murderous Leatherface and the rest of his cannibal Sawyer family. Featuring several very memorable scenes and great performances by all, this is one of the franchise's best sequels as she becomes separated from Hopper's over-the-top, almost Nick Cage-style of lawman, and trapped in Texas chili hell. Struggling to avoid becoming the next victim inside the Sawyers’ secret hideout under the dilapidated “Texas Battle Land” amusement park, Caroline endures chainsaw battles, witnesses a live skinning, and even a gruesomely romantic dance with Leatherface as her intense, fear-fraught portrayal cemented her as a favorite 80s scream queen.

With over 80 TV and film appearances across four decades, Caroline has since played lead roles in many horror franchise sequels and continues to make dozens of horror cameos in many feature and cult films to this day.

Hey Horror Family, we are about to start announcing guests on social media however already dropped the first guest on the website. We will do our best to coordinate so that all channels have the same information relatively around the same time .

This is a gentle reminder that my ability to book guests is based not only on my ability and track record but my audience's responses to these announcements, if you don't like an announcement please keep it to yourself and if you have a suggestion please do so elsewhere than on announcement posts. Any feedback is appreciated via [email protected]. Please do your best to give them the warm welcome and hospitality that most have always shown.(I work for you guys, thank you, I know how truly blessed I am to be in this community) It doesn't make sense to ban customers but do so to not ruin everyone else's good time.

I will do my best to have a diversified lineup for everyone, not everyone will understand why and who I book but as a nonprofit promoting artists, I always try to have local representation. This year I have been working on the weirdest mix of horror guests from current, Italian, J-horror, and Horror Con staple 80's horror comedies and slasher films.

Vendors, tables are filling up fast both for the market only show on Sunday June 14 (free admission for attendees) as well as still have a few tables left for the full convention October 3 and 4th. Anyone looking to w**d down their collection of Horror Memorabilia many vendors started that way and June 14th is a good way to try your hand in vending with little investment. Stay tuned as we start guest announcements for Calgary Horror Con 14!!!

Out of all the great films released on this date—The Birds (1963), The Changeling (1980), Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1920), and Phantasm (1979)—there’s one that truly stands above the rest in my mind: Leprechaun in the Hood (2000).

Most franchises die the moment they go to space—but not Leprechaun. After coming back from orbit, he somehow still had four more movies left in him.

Rocking a fearless 30% on Rotten Tomatoes and a bold 3.8/10 on IMDb, don’t let the numbers scare you off—fire this one up however you can: VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, or streaming.

Because at the end of the day, you can never go wrong with Warwick Davis and Ice-T.
