Hit & Myth has always been about supporting Alberta artists. The journey of a thousand pages always begins with one word, and we are so excited to be partnering with Alberta Playwrights Network to support their 2026 Emerging Artist Playwright Mentorship Program. 

This program has been a cornerstone for APN for the past 10 years bringing together emerging theatre creators and providing them with an individual 6 month mentorship with an established Canadian playwright. This program is an opportunity for new theatre creators to hone their craft, establish a network of peers, and receive guidance on the “business of being a playwright”. 

With the generous support of Hit & Myth productions, 10 emerging artists from Alberta will have the opportunity to take the next step on their artistic journey.
