They have teamed up for this project to address a significant gap in the contemporary dance scene in Calgary, by creating a project that allows emerging artists to co-produce and create full-evening length work. They aspire to br

ing audiences together and take them to new places by exploring socially relevant issues in a contemporary context. While simultaneously extending dance into a collaborative form, it is their hope that the work will speak to and inspire creativity and innovation.

✨ Exciting News! ✨

Project InTandem is thrilled to announce that we’ll be attending the Final Tuning Residency Program at The Banff Centre for the Arts in February 2025!

This dream is becoming a reality thanks to the incredible support of our amazing community. 💛

However, we’re currently working with a scaled-down version of the production. For Giving Tuesday, we’re launching a fundraising campaign to cover the remaining costs, including:
🎵 Musicians
👯 An understudy
🎭 Props & set pieces
🗂️ Administration costs

🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

We’re beyond thrilled to announce that Exile, Meghann Michalsky’s debut full-length work, has been selected for the prestigious Final Tuning program at The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity! This is a monumental opportunity for Alberta artists—a two-week creative residency followed by a week in the theatre, culminating in a FREE 60-minute performance.

But we need your help to make this dream a reality! Despite multiple funding applications, we haven’t secured the final resources needed. That’s where YOU come in! We’re asking our incredible community to consider donating what you’d normally spend on a ticket ($35-$100) to support Exile and the talented team of 7 dancers, 3 musicians, and 2 composers behind it.

💡 If you can’t donate, please share and help spread the word! Know a business or individual looking for a tax deduction? We’ve got options for them too!

Your contribution helps pay artists and cover technical costs. We don’t want to give up this opportunity because of funding. So please if you know anyone able to help - send them our way!

Volunteer Opportunity – Join Project InTandem's Fundraising Committee!

Are you passionate about supporting the arts and looking for a meaningful volunteer role? Project InTandem, a dynamic group of dance artists based in Calgary, is forming a Fundraising Committee to help us reach our goal of $45,000 for our upcoming residency and performance at the prestigious Banff Centre in February 2025.

About Us:
We create and produce cutting-edge dance performances and are preparing for an important milestone with our Banff Centre for the Arts residency. We’re seeking passionate individuals to join our committee and help us make this project a reality!

Who We’re Looking For:
*Enthusiastic volunteers with a passion for the arts
*Experience or interest in fundraising or networking
*Ability to collaborate and contribute ideas for fundraising strategies
