At Free House Dance Plus, dancers of all abilities and ages are warmly welcomed. A non-competitive studio, Free House supports the technical and artistic development of the dancer and offers performance opportunities, yearly evaluations and travel experiences. With a teaching faculty of 36 instructors, three floors of dance space and 30 different styles of classes, Free House is a premier dance destination in Calgary. We have great Tap classes for all ages (kids, teens, adults!) and we’d love to welcome you to join us!! Our classes kick off for the year on Saturday, September 12!

Tap is one of the best ways to develop a strong sense of rhythm, timing, musicality and coordination. Dancers learn to hear and see intricate rhythms, then recreate with their feet.

Tap is energetic, social and playful. Dancers get to make music together, challenge themselves and enjoy the unique satisfaction of creating sound through movement.

Modern dance is a wonderful opportunity for dancers of all ages to explore movement in a different way.

For our younger students, Modern encourages creativity, musicality, strength, coordination, and self-expression while helping them develop greater versatility as dancers.

For our adult dancers, Modern offers the opportunity to move, challenge yourself, reconnect with your body, and enjoy the freedom and creativity that dance can bring—regardless of previous experience.

For dancers of all ages and levels, Acro can be a wonderful complement to their other dance training. Through safe, progressive instruction, dancers develop strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, body awareness, and confidence.
