Dearest gentle readers, the cast list is in. Consider this our very own society-page exclusive. Lady Goodword will be furious we scooped her.

After an incredible round of auditions, bold choices, shrieking laughter, and enough charisma to keep the society pages busy for months, we are thrilled to introduce the cast of They Say.

This brand-new Full Circle prequel to Much Ado About Nothing is funny, romantic, scandalous, and already serving gossip, sexy sword fights, an encounter in a garden, and the beginnings of Shakespeare’s favourite enemies-to-lovers. We cannot wait to unleash this company on Messina.

Wow! Y’all are wild in the best possible way! Auditions have been open for 48 hours and all our audition spots are currently full. We have good news, though! We are actively working to arrange additional times and hope to have an update soon. In the meantime, please still fill in our audition form to express your interest and be the first to know! GENERAL AUDITIONS ARE HERE!

We’re casting TWO shows for our 2026–2027 season, which means it is officially time to come play with us.

They Say: Gossip! Romance! Regency drama! Questionable decisions! Come meet Beatrice and Benedick before they became Shakespeare’s favourite enemies-to-lovers disaster.

Something Wicked: Witches! Blood! Prophecy! Murder! Shakespeare’s Macbeth, but make it horror. (Yes, this is the Macbeth we promised but with a shiny new title to reflect our vibe.)

We’re looking for actors for both productions, and you are very welcome to audition for one show or throw caution to the wind and audition for both.

Tiny scheduling update!

We looked at a calendar. Very useful things, calendars.

In order to have our directors in place before we launch general auditions this fall, we’re moving the director submission deadline for both They Say and Macbeth up to August 14 at 11:59pm.

If you’ve been considering applying, now is the moment. We’re looking for artists excited by bold theatrical worlds, collaboration, Shakespeare, new work, romance, blood, gossip, witches, complicated people making questionable choices, and all the other things we apparently consider a good time.

Full Circle Theatre is looking for passionate, collaborative artists to join our production teams for the 2026–2027 season.

Our shows this year:
They Say (November 12-21, 2026)
A Bridgerton-inspired prequel to Much Ado About Nothing. Think secrets, society, and slow burns.

Macbeth (February 18-27, 2027)
**co-production with Jupiter Theatre**
The Shakespearean classic. Prophecy, ambition, power, blood, three weird sisters, and a crown absolutely no one SHOULD want.

We’re currently accepting proposals for:
Directors
Stage managers
Production designers (set, lighting, sound, costumes)
Pitch us something else!

To apply, send us a brief resume and a short statement of interest by Sunday, August 23 at 11:59 PM. You can DM us or email [email protected].

What we’re looking for:
If you’re a director, tell us your vision for the show.
For other roles, share what excites you and what you bring to the production.

Chaotic, messy, and/or personal is very welcome. We're not looking for a TED talk, we just want to know YOU.

Everyone will receive a response. Final decisions will include a casual conversation with the Artistic Directors.

Full Circle Theatre is an indie theatre company with no external funding, so any positions within a FCT production should be considered a volunteer opportunity.
