The Speedball Elegant Writer was a hit at our Make โ€˜n Take table today at Scrapaganza! ๐Ÿคฉ

Everyone was amazed by the magic of its ink. Some said it resembled northern lights!

The process:
1. Trace a cookie cutter with a pencil on cold pressed watercolour paper. We brought ghosts, cats, and bats as options!
2. Go over the pencil outline with the Speedball Elegant Writer.
3. Take a wet brush and pull the ink into your shape using the water from your brush.
4. After the shape is filled, we stamped away with our โ€œHappy Halloweenโ€ stamp and some fun spiders, bats, and webs!
5. As a bonus, we coloured in our โ€œHappy Halloweenโ€ stamp with Faber-Castell Polychromos colour pencils.

So fun! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป Catch us for another demo tomorrow with a different theme here at Scrapaganza.

You might notice they look a little like Cola pens, but thereโ€™s a difference. These Italian-made pens are designed to be easier to master, more reliable, and comfortable to use.โฃ
โฃ
Theyโ€™re perfect for expressive and gestural calligraphy, drawing, and sketching. Play with the tip or the main edge to create thick and thin marks, and have fun experimenting with ink!โฃ
โฃ
And yes, that little metal plectrum has a purpose! It helps clean out paper and ink residue from the penโ€™s central slot, so you can keep your pen in good shape. ๐Ÿฅณ
