Cringe Queen brings together three artists whose practices embrace excess with conviction. Colour, humour, ornament, sentiment, absurdity, beauty, kitsch, glamour, excess, Vegas, Jazzercise, bargain bins, and haute couture are the territory this exhibition occupies. The result is a world that is playful, meticulous, and suitably nonsensical. Though their approaches differ, the artists share an appetite for abundance.

MOMENTS is a collection of new works by John F. Ross and Ryan Smitham that reflect visual patterns of human and ecological interaction and our shared experience of time. This exhibition is a series of monuments to temporality; individual scenes from stories never told, moments constructed and moments found. Completing a trilogy of shows sharing concepts, narratives and imagery, John and Ryan have shaped their most concrete collaboration to date.

The gallery has recently been through major tribulation with a flood forcing the doors closed at the beginning of the year. We are very happy to finally welcome you all back in!
