Axe-citing doesn’t cut it!
Live Edge Axe Throwing was honoured to be included in a workshop event at Calgary’s science centre, Telus Spark! The Science of sports with an 80s twist! It was an amazing axe-perience! Building relationships and collaborations with Calgarys iconic attractions is axe- traordinary for us!

Being included and highlighted in the Science of Sports definitely hits a spot in our hearts. Axe Throwing is a sport! Axe throwing is fun! Axe throwing is all about having a great time with friends and family.

A quick thanks to all the Spark team members that made this unique event awesome. And thank you to our staff for hitting the mark again! Live Edge is looking forward to more events this summer. Cheers!

First playoffs of the season! Wednesday hatchet was a blast! So many great matches, new personal high scores, and seeing so much growth across the board!
Congratulations to Nick for taking 1st, with a hard fought battle against Katie in second place! Third to Kendra and 4th place was claimed by Bryan- taking home hardware in his first Live Edge season!

Just the start of our playoff run- so many more nights to come!!

It’s people!
A place to come and be with people. Your people and new people. All people! Big, small, shy, outgoing, young, old. Live Edge was built on the notion that the target on the wall doesn’t care and the line on the ground is the same for everyone. Axe throwing and knife throwing is for everyone. Live Edge is a place to be yourself.

Urban axe or knife throwing is entertainment!
It’s supposed to be fun! Getting involved, building relationships, forgetting your day, trying that new thing, pushing your limits, achieving goals, and enjoying competitiveness in a supportive safe space.

Urban axe & knife throwing is a sport!
With organizations, leagues, leader boards, detailed statistics, local tournaments, major tournaments abroad, and of course world championships! It all starts with the community inside our walls and reaching across the world.
Live Edge is building all of that together with our world axe and knife throwing affiliation, highlighting the sport on different levels. Check us out and see what urban axe throwing is really about!
