Come out to Central Memorial High School for a day of clinics, concerts, and the Canadian Drumline Association's Alberta Competition. All percussionists are welcome!

Would you like to elevate your percussion playing to the next level? Would you like to become a more influential member of your school band or orchestra? This course is designed for high school and junior high students wanting to improve or explore new skills and techniques for this upcoming fall!

Join some of Calgary’s best percussionists for a fun and educational experience at the MRU Summer Percussion Institute. This week-long exploratory program is designed for percussionists and drummers between the ages of 12 and 18 (who have experience playing percussion instruments).

What a day. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to make this day happen.

Thank you to Leo, Colin, and Nia for their amazing clinics. Thank you to the KOCR and Calgary Highlanders for presenting. Thank you to everyone who got up and played today.

This Friday we will feature a trio of amazing Alberta based clinicians.

Today we'd like to introduce Colin Langstraat.

Colin has been drumming for over 19 years. In that time he has toured across North America, recorded for many different artists, become a drum educator and has learnt a great many things about the music business.

In this clinic Colin will share the most important aspects and attributes required to become a professional musician and drummer.
