Together, we’re launching the Young Artist Mentorship Program 2026 — an initiative designed for intermediate and advanced ensembles (ages ~14–25).

This program offers a rare opportunity to step behind the curtain of a professional festival environment, with direct access to world-class artists performing at ChamberFest West (July 14–19, 2026).

This summer, ChamberFest West explores movement across landscapes, cultures, and centuries. Continental Drifts features music by Johannes Brahms, Franz Schubert, Dmitri Shostakovich, Aaron Copland, Antonín Dvořák, and Maurice Ravel—alongside unexpected voices including Leonard Cohen.

ChamberFest West’s Spring Concert on May 6 brings together two exceptional artists, Yura Lee and Jason Vieaux, in a program of depth, contrast, and expressive range.

Featuring music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Isaac Albéniz, Maurice Ravel, and Béla Bartók, the evening unfolds through solo and duo works that highlight both individual virtuosity and collaborative magic.

We’re excited to share a new initiative in collaboration with Roman Rabinovich, Co-Artistic Director of ChamberFest West, and United Active Living.

Coffee with Beethoven: The 32 Sonatas brings Ludwig van Beethoven’s complete piano sonatas to United Active Living—inviting residents and their guests to gather, listen, and connect through intimate live music and conversation. The series begins with a special opening performance on Thursday, April 9 at 7:00 PM at Lake Bonavista.

Festival 2026: Meet the Artists~
Opening the festival on July 15th is Tunde Jegede, a world-renowned composer, cellist, and kora virtuoso, performing his own composition, "Moon Waters." As a child, Jegede travelled to The Gambia to train under Amadu Bansang Jobarteh, Master of the Kora, whose family has carried the West African griot tradition since the 13th century. That journey shaped a singular global voice - one that has since collaborated with the London Sinfonietta, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonia, Britten Sinfonia, and the Brodsky Quartet, and commissions from percussionist Evelyn Glennie, among others.

Winner of the 2024 Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition, Puerto Rican guitarist Leonela Alejandro is known for her powerful and energetic performances.
She has appeared at festivals and concert series across the U.S. and Europe, including the Latino Arts Guitar Festival and the José Tomás Villa de Petrer Guitar Festival.

Festival 2026: Meet the Artists~
Introducing the exceptional artists joining us for ChamberFest West 2026.

We’re looking ahead with growing excitement as we begin to share some of the extraordinary artists joining us for next summer’s ChamberFest West. Among them is violist and director Jennifer Stumm, a musician whose vision and virtuosity have been featured on the world’s leading stages from Carnegie Hall to the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Known for the “opal-like beauty” of her sound, Jennifer has also been recognized for her work with the São Paulo-based Ilumina Festival, receiving awards for its artistic and social impact. Stay tuned for more artist news as we reveal the lineup for our July 2026 festival!
