Our mission and goal are to provide a safe space and environment for all people to experience a market that is eccentric and different. In addition, we want to inspire and motivate people to explore and discover

new art, meet new friends while in a space that consists of a wonderful community of like-minded people. We are extremely excited to exclusively showcase curiosity and oddity vendors, dark art artists and makers. Being the Black Sheep of the “pop-up market family/community”, we are happy to be able to provide a place where you feel welcome and surrounded by those with the same interests while sharing your work with everyone and anyone. Skye is a trans, q***r and multiply disabled digital artist. He has special interests in frogs and q***r identities and that is reflected in its art. He tries to include as many q***r identities as possible to ensure everyone is able to feel seen and to foster a sense of belonging. It makes stickers, prints and zines of its art.

Austin Wentworth is the artist behind Artificer by Moonlight, and specializes in advanced level crochet items, such as semi realistic creatures and fantasy themed wearables. He won 2nd place in 2024 and 1st in 2025 at the Calgary Stampede Creative Arts and Crafts Competition, and is a social media moderator for Megan Lapp of Crafty Intentions fame. He currently finds joy from sharing his work at local markets.

Tlouey is an artist from Central Alberta who works predominantly in watercolours and ink. They are likely best known for their purple zebracorns, which exist as a metaphor for how it feels to grow up q***r and neurodivergent in a small rural community. Tlouey's motto is "Pastel Purple as Punk" because they are passionate about punk as resistance, kindness, and community building. Check out their table for colourful watercolour illustrations of magical zebracorns and rude dogs! You'll also find cute and sassy stickers, wooden keychains, reusable shopping bags, punk patches, and more!

Kailyn Humphreys is a q***r and trans illustrator, animator, and ceramist who's work primarily focuses on identity, belonging, and community through either fun bright and magical worlds or the sticky, dark and sometimes gross realities.

Avan is a Grade 12 student who specializes in creating creatures from polymer clay and upcycled stuffed animals

Nicole is a sustainable artist. She creates mostly crochet wears, jewelry and accessories. Majority of her materials are upcycled, donated, or second hand. She loves to gives things a new life !!

Rodeo Clown Press is a one-bug show run by Nell (they/he) a q***r, non-binary, neurodivergent artist residing in moh'kins'tsis Treaty 7 territory. Utilizing second-hand clothing and various recycled materials, they offer a wide variety of art in prints, patches, clothing, and more !

Wicked Whisk is a 2-Spirit Indigenous owned and operated bakery that bakes with intention and catering to a variety of dietary needs. Wicked Whisk loves creating treats to be enjoyed by all.

Eric Makwich is a multidisciplinary artist residing in moh'kíns'tsis / otôskwunee / wincheesh-pah / kootsisáw / klincho-tinay-indihay. Working primarily in installation, sculpture, two-dimensional, and auditory media, they explore the relationship between the known and unknown.
By shifting, subverting, or blending the familiar with the alien, the nostalgic with the mysterious, and the comfortable with the uncomfortable, they hope to re-examine what these signifiers mean to us and where we sit with them.

Nico (chokecherry) is a multidisciplinary artist from Mohkinstsis/Calgary. They work in fibre, print and various media to create wearable and decorative artworks. Their practice is about witchcraft, monstrous feminine mythology and q***r identity.

Morf Sat is a tattoo and visual artist, born in Ukraine and living in Calgary. Her work is largely abstract, focusing on sharp shapes that evoke both weaponry and armour— symbols of personal power.

Critter Obscura is a professional weirdo making whimsical taxidermy creations, jewelry and anything else that captures their attention

Lindsay aka Snaildy is a mixed media artist based in Calgary! They love to make whimsical, colorful, abstract art and have a lot of fun experimenting with many different mediums.

Riley BQ is a q***r, disabled artist and storyteller. They make colourful collages, zines, and stickers. Riley’s work celebrates the joy of being authentic, and is one way that they give their closeted younger self a voice. They hope that their work will encourage others to embody their fullest, truest selves as well.

Bobbi is a local q***r jewelry maker who uses chainmail techniques. Each piece uses stainless steel rings and incorporates beads, buttons and other second hand finds for unique statement jewelry! Bobbi also collabs with her mom to combine crochet and chainmail.

Megan Thomas (she/they) is an Indigiq***r beadwork artist and member of Dene Tha' First Nation. Their work brings together traditional and contemporary styles, often incorporating natural materials such as crystals, hides, gemstones, and furs. Materials that hold spirit, grounding, and purpose. Alongside beadwork, they also enjoy digital design and sewing, allowing curiosity to guide the evolution of their artistic practice.

Friendlychaosco loves to incorporate vibrant colours with powerful meanings based on there own experiences.

Evan loves up-cycling and creating he has turned this passion into turning old decanters, Vases , and bottles into beautiful water pipes, curating with beautiful old ashtrays and smoking related goodies :)

Alain Daigle is a born and raised Calgarian and have been doing art most of his life. Doing art is his full time job. His work ranges from oil paintings, watercolour and ceramics. He loves doing cute and chubby characters inspired by video games and cartoons. Colour is his favourite part about art and it shows!

Run by one creepy crawly named Dionysus. Someone who can’t pick a hobby. With a particular interest in nature and crawly critters, their art is inspired by all things often unloved. Mainly focused on Tunisian crochet tapestries, zines, felt keychains and the occasional taxidermy!

Sinewed Versing is a process of transferring body horror pencil work into ballpoint pieces, as well as making the most notable works into oil paintings. Alongside these are hand-bound books and zines meant to detail more of the impact of the body art through poetry and verse. Prints, zines, stickers, paintings, and other original work will be made available.

August Boulton is a Calgary based pen illustrated. His hyper detailed drawing focus on folklore, q***rness, and horror.

Sky Paul was born in Grande Prairie with roots throughout the prairies. They studied in Amiskwaciywacigan and currently practice in Moh'kinstis. Some of his earliest memories are about doing art and walking in the bush with talented family members. Sky’s practice is based on the belief that cultural empowerment through the arts is integral to the survival and healing of individuals and communities. He lovingly explores subjects of gender, sexuality, relationships to the land, and community. Their intuitive creative process is guided by their experiences as a trans settler and Métis person.
