When I first started modeling a couple of years ago, stepping onto the runway made me so nervous. But being a dancer, I quickly learned that incorporating some of my own moves helps me relax, have fun and feel like myself up there.

Today, I genuinely love modeling and being part of fashion shows. 🖤

I’ve been seeing this sound a lot lately, and while I understand the sentiment behind it, I wanted to add some context.

Personally, I keep my hair long for my spirit and to honour my late father.

I grew up with long hair, cut it when I was younger because of bullying, and later chose to grow it again.

At the same time, I don’t believe there is one right or wrong choice. Many Indigenous people cut their hair while mourning the loss of a loved one. Others keep it long. Some do both at different points in their lives.

Our journeys are all different.

For me, long hair is part of who I am. But I respect those who choose a different path.

To each their own 🪶

Had an awesome opportunity to dance alongside some of my favorite B-Boys and B-Girls from around the world as part of Team Red Bull BC One.

One of the things I love most about dance is how it brings people together. It was really cool to share a bit of Indigenous culture while also celebrating breaking culture and the community that comes with it.

Different styles, different backgrounds, but the same love for music, movement, and connection. Grateful to share the floor with such talented dancers.
