It was the weirdest thing , yesterday while out in the backyard with the dogs , enjoying a beautiful day , a giant crow buzzed us with a low flyover our heads and landed on the roof next door and just stared at us for a while , I yelled inside to Tanya “hey check out this giant crow just sitting here staring at us , isn’t that some sort of an omen !?” … so she looked it up and YES , one crow is ‘bad luck’ … never in my wildest dreams would I have guessed that I would wake up to the news of your sudden passing Manuel Vaccaro … rest easy my dear friend, thank you for your friendship and the decades of laughter and joy you brought to the table … you will be sorely missed brother , such a huge loss to the music community and to all who were lucky enough to know you.
