🎧 HEY DJ ENTERTAINMENT — 2027 BOOKINGS ARE NOW OPEN! 🎧

And yes… our rates are going up.

For years, we’ve made a point of keeping our pricing fair, competitive, and affordable while still delivering the professional DJ experience, equipment, preparation, music, MC services, lighting, consultation and personal attention that your event deserves.

But let’s be honest — the cost of doing business in Canada isn’t getting cheaper.

Equipment costs, transportation, fuel, insurance, maintenance, technology, advertising, software, labour and just about every other operating expense continue to climb. Statistics Canada reported this year that nearly two-thirds of Canadian businesses are facing or expecting cost-related obstacles, with inflation and input costs among the biggest pressures.

And after years of trying to absorb those increases ourselves, it’s time for Hey DJ Entertainment to make a change.

📈 Effective January 1, 2027, our rates are expected to increase by approximately 25%.

That increase allows us to continue investing in better equipment, better technology, better service and — most importantly — continue providing the level of entertainment our clients have come to expect.

Here are a few quick tips to help your day run smoothly:

☀️ Have plenty of water available for guests, especially during outdoor ceremonies.

🌤️ Always have a backup plan for the weather. It's Alberta... we all know how quickly the forecast can change!

📸 Schedule your couple's photos around sunset if you can. The golden-hour lighting is absolutely worth it.

🎶 Keep your guests entertained during cocktail hour with great music to maintain the energy while you're taking photos.

💃 Don't wait too long to open the dance floor. Once the party starts, people are much more likely to stay and celebrate the night away!
