Who said Raffia is only for summer? 🌿

Yes, we love it for summer hats — but there’s so much more you can make with it.

Bags, baskets, home décor, accessories… and yes, Halloween is just around the corner. 🎃

Just look at these colours — anyone else thinking about cute little Raffia pumpkins? Because I definitely am. 😄

Light, structured, and beautifully textured, Raffia is such a fun material to experiment with.

And with so many colours available, maybe the hardest part is simply choosing your combination.

We have a beautiful selection of Ispie Raffia available at Ellyn Yarn — from bright shades to gorgeous neutrals (and some very pumpkin-friendly colours 😉).

Check out the full colour selection on our website. ❤️

Same design. Different colours. Completely different moods. 🧵✨
The beautiful bracelet in the first photo is not my work — it was created by Angela Gambka, an amazing tatting artist and the person I’m currently learning this beautiful craft from. ❤️
And in the second photo… that one is mine! 😊
My result after just one month of learning tatting.
This is the Geometry set, and now I’ve been playing with different colour combinations for it.
It’s amazing how completely different the same design can look just by changing the colours.
Bold or subtle?
High contrast or something softer?
Classic or a little unexpected?
I put together several colour combinations using Arianna Vega tatting thread.
Swipe through and tell me — which combination would you choose for Geometry?
And of course, you can always create your own combination. ❤️
Arianna Vega tatting thread is available at Ellyn Yarn in a beautiful range of colours and in sizes 20 and 40.

Skill and practice matter, of course. But so does the thread. 🧵
The more I learn tatting, the more I realize how much the quality of the thread affects the process — and the final result.
And now I can say it with confidence: Arianna Vega can make all the difference in your tatting lace. ❤️
For this project, I’m using two beautiful shades:
103 — Warm White
722 — Taupe
Arianna Vega is available at Ellyn Yarn in sizes 20 and 40, with lots of beautiful colours to choose from.
Find the full selection on our website.
