It is my desire to employ different materials, scale and processes in my work and are the evidence of an artist always taking risks searching for that connection , that one "true" moment between myself , subject and you the viewer.

Many years ago I developed a body of work dedicated to my family who homesteaded in Saskatchewan. This group of work traveled across Western Canada with great reviews. Now this exhibition will be on display at The Collectors Gallery of Art in Calgary and will be available for purchase.
This group of work tells the story of 100 years of farming through paintings, assemblages and installations. Both grandparents homesteads were cannibalized for rich historical pieces of the past integrated into the work.
This exhibition revisits the important and valuable conversation about the changing social fabric of the Canadian Prairies.
Please join me on April 25 for an artist talk and discussion.
