The Littlest H***y Tonk TV & Jackalope Jamboree present: The Lowtimers - "Flesh and Bone".
We met Mark & Austin of The Lowtimers at the Jackalope Jamboree After Party on the first official day of the festival - and immediately hit it off. These guys that run the stretch of the iconic I-5 through California to Oregon make them ultimate road dogs similar to TLHT and our faction of misfits travelling North America with a horse trailer in tow. The intimacy of our sessions feel even more genuine when you can build rapport with artists - from perusing the walls of The Littlest H***y Tonk, enjoying songwriters perform, but also playing VLTs at the dive bars of Pendleton - The Lowtimers are our kind of folks. You can tell that there is an authenticity of the art through not only their lyrics but presentation of the music. "Flesh and Bone" is the first song off The Lowtimers debut album "Cracks" released in 2025, speaking to a life both hardened and softened by a life well lived. This super group of West Coast Americana artists will be paving the way on all sorts of highways in the future we're sure.

We are so lucky to have partnered with Jackalope Jamboree - a festival which has a way of making all of the festival feel familial with the size of stages, accessibility of the festival, and the extracurricular events outside of the event space. They take over Pendleton, OR for a weekend and make it a haven for music lovers - and we fit right into that space.

The Littlest H***y Tonk TV & Jackalope Jamboree present: Summer Dean - "She Ain't Me". When we met Summer Dean at Jackalope Jamboree this summer we were charmed before she sang us a note. Summer has a rare air about her, a calm confidence generally reserved for retired bronc busters and gunfighters. Maybe its the long Texas tradition of looking loneliness, heartache or death in the eyes long enough to become familiar that has given this bluebonnet bard her ability to radiate sincerity. In Country Music, a genre where authenticity is paramount Summer Dean should be held in the highest regard. We are proud to present this field recording of a genuine hurtin' song, under the iconic Pendleton Roundup Grandstand, in our h***y tonk horse hauler at the legendary Jackalope Jamboree Festival, a bona fide casserole of Country goodness. The Littlest H***y Tonk TV & ⁨Jackalope Jamboree present: ⁨Meels - "Lonely USA". Originating from California, Meels encompasses so purely what the genre of "Americana" should be. Blend of genuine folk music, age old tales, along with bluegrass elements, and a modernly haunting voice. A highly educated musician you can tell this young artist is only just getting started. This track was written after the first of Meels' back to back touring schedule and is a reminder that sometimes leaving what we know to bring heartbreak for the unknown can be worth the dive into the deep end, that nothing worth doing is easy but to trust oneself. Ourselves and the Jackalope Jamboree consider ourselves lucky to capture this artist on their uprising of a long career ahead. "Lonely USA" is the latest single recently released on Lost Highway Records.

The Littlest H***y Tonk TV & ⁨Canmore Folk Festival present: ⁨Willi Carlisle - "The Great Depression". Folk music is not only songs of all folks - but oftentimes a lesson in history telling stories of "folks" from across the land and time which resonate in every day and at every age. How fitting to have Willi perform a song titled after a time from many years ago recorded at Alberta's oldest and longest running festival. A common denominator of the human experience is experiencing hard times and working hard to overcome - we thank Willi for providing some inspirational words to overcome that.

Canmore Folk Festival runs THIS WEEKEND (Aug 1-3 2026) and one of the most beautiful festivals nestled in the Rocky Mountains, weekend passes and daily tickets are still available via their website if you want to enjoy the experience.

The Littlest H***y Tonk TV presents: WAYLON WYATT - "In Loving Melody" . While Waylon himself is young in age - he writes songs as if he's lived many lives. Reigning from Arkansas, Waylon has been making a name for himself all over the world with singles and collaborations for a couple years now - but recently released his first full length album, "Dustpiles". In Loving Melody is relatable to all who hold a memories in song with those you love the most - an experience all of us music lovers know too well, for better or worse. We were lucky enough to catch up with Waylon and his band as they toured through our part of Canada in early July - and got to experience the intimate performance captured here as well as witness the enigmatic showstopping side of Waylon on the big stage at his show at one of the infamous Calgary Stampede tents.
